About Me

Let’s dive into my journey. I have been blessed to have worked with some amazing developers and some not so amazing ones. I have learned from both the good and the bad. I have also learned so much from all the great people who make YouTube videos. Shout out to all the dads who posted car repair vids! Haha. Seriously, I am so grateful to all these people I learned from! I want to take all I learned in my life and try to help others succeed with the information and experience I have gained. Truly it is a passion for me, I hope every one of my clients goes on to be greater than they even dreamed of!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. From trading Pokémon cards with the other kids at school to begging my parents to have garage sales to sell items I no longer needed. I always enjoyed buying, selling and being a businessman… or businesskid in that case. As I grew older, I began my career. I was in sales and excelled in all my sales jobs. I have led districts in sales contests and been manager of departments at major companies. I learned much from my sales career but deep down I was a business owner. Thus started my business career.

My first company was a sneaker an exchange business I started with some of my friends. In high school I found a love for fashion and sneakers. This love also incorporates another passion of mine which was buying, selling and trading. I would exchange popular and coveted sneakers such as Air Jordans, Nikes and Adidas online, in person or at my local flea market. This is where I polished my valuable negotiation and sales skills. Together with my friends we organized a sneaker exchange, if you do not know what that is, this is a trade show style event where vendors come and purchase tables to buy, sell and trade sneakers with other enthusiasts. Our first event was a thrilling success. I learned an immeasurable amount of knowledge, not just about business but about myself. In fact, what I remember the most from that day, was mid event looking around the venue seeing it packed with people and thinking to myself “wow everyone is here just from an idea I had” of course, that idea was fueled by passion and driven by ambition. Most importantly this was the first time I truly learned the thoughts we have can be manifested in the physical world.

Though this event was one time thing, it led me to my next venture. Another trade show style event but this time geared towards trading cards, sports cards and memorabilia. But this time I wanted to do it differently. I wanted to also have an online marketplace, like eBay. Where the vendors who attended my show could also continue their selling online. At this point in my life, I had no web development experience, but that didn’t stop me. I originally hired a company to build my website for me. They did a good job with the design but not so much with the functionality. So, I switched platforms and tried again with a new approach, instead of hiring a company, I would hire an individual freelancer. This went better but still was not where I wanted it to be. My freelancer and I eventually parted ways, and I moved on to another freelancer but this time in my job description I asked to be taught everything that was going on. This way I can do all the updates and side work myself. I picked things up quickly, took online classes and watched countless YouTube videos on the subject. I ended up falling in love with web development. It was a perfect avenue to bring my creative side and my business side together. So, I went back to school to improve my skills even more, I started off by just taking some classes at my local community college to achieving a degree in computer science.

Once I felt confident enough in my skills, I started building websites for some of my close friends and family. Then eventually moved on to taken small jobs as a freelance developer. I truly have a passion for helping others succeed and tell their story through their business the same way I do now. The countless hours of studying, watching YouTube videos, all the money I lost and gained, all the frustrating days where I felt things would never work out to the joy filled days after success has brought me here.
